नायं वेद स्वमात्मानं यच्छक्त्याहन्धिया हतम् । तं दुरत्ययमाहात्म्यं भगवन्तमितोऽस्म्यहम् ।। ८-३-२९ ।।

I offer my respectful obeisances unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead, by whose illusory energy the jīva, who is part and parcel of God, forgets his real identity because of the bodily concept of life. I take shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whose glories are difficult to understand. ।। 8-3-29 ।।

english translation

मैं उन भगवान् को सादर नमस्कार करता हूँ जिनकी माया से ईश्वर का अंश जीव देहात्मबुद्धि के कारण अपनी असली पहचान को भूल जाता है। मैं उन भगवान् की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ जिनके यश को समझ पाना कठिन है। ।। ८-३-२९ ।।
