सोत्थाय बद्धाञ्जलिरीडितुं स्थिता नोत्सेह आनन्दजलाकुलेक्षणा । बभूव तूष्णीं पुलकाकुलाकृतिस्तद्दर्शनात्युत्सवगात्रवेपथुः ।। ८-१७-६ ।।

sanskrit

Aditi stood silently with folded hands, unable to offer prayers to the Lord. Because of transcendental bliss, tears filled her eyes, and the hairs on her body stood on end. Because she could see the Supreme Personality of Godhead face to face, she felt ecstasy, and her body trembled. ।। 8-17-6 ।।

english translation

भगवान् की स्तुति करने में असमर्थ होने के कारण अदिति हाथ जोड़े मौन खड़ी रहीं। दिव्य आनन्द के कारण उनकी आँखों में आँसू भर आये और उनके शरीर के रोंगटे खड़े हो गये। चूँकि वे भगवान् को अपने समक्ष देख रही थीं अतएव वे आह्लादित हो उठीं और उनका शरीर काँपने लगा। ।। ८-१७-६ ।।
