Srimad Bhagavatam
अप्यभद्रं न विप्राणां भद्रे लोकेऽधुनाऽऽगतम् । न धर्मस्य न लोकस्य मृत्योश्छन्दानुवर्तिनः ॥ ८-१६-४ ॥
O most gentle one, I wonder whether anything inauspicious has now taken place in regard to religious principles, the brāhmaṇas or the people in general, who are subject to the whims of death. ॥ 8-16-4 ॥
english translation
हे भद्रे! मुझे आश्चर्य है कि कहीं धर्म पर, ब्राह्मण वर्ग या काल की सोच में पड़ी जनता को कुछ हो तो नहीं गया? ॥ ८-१६-४ ॥
