अष्टमेऽन्तर आयाते सावर्णिर्भविता मनुः । निर्मोकविरजस्काद्याः सावर्णितनया नृप ॥ ८-१३-११ ॥
O King, when the period of the eighth Manu arrives, Sāvarṇi will become the Manu. Nirmoka and Virajaska will be among his sons. ॥ 8-13-11 ॥

हे राजा! आठवें मनु का काल आने पर सावर्णि मनु बनेगा। निर्मोक, विरजस्क इत्यादि उसके पुत्र होंगे। ॥ ८-१३-११ ॥

तत्र देवाः सुतपसो विरजा अमृतप्रभाः । तेषां विरोचनसुतो बलिरिन्द्रो भविष्यति ॥ ८-१३-१२ ॥
In the period of the eighth Manu, among the demigods will be the Sutapās, the Virajas and the Amṛtaprabhas. The king of the demigods, Indra, will be Bali Mahārāja, the son of Virocana. ॥ 8-13-12 ॥

आठवें मन्वन्तर में सुतपा, विरज तथा अमृतप्रभगण देवता होंगे और विरोचन पुत्र बलि महाराज देवताओं के राजा इन्द्र होंगे। ॥ ८-१३-१२ ॥

दत्त्वेमां याचमानाय विष्णवे यः पदत्रयम् । राद्धमिन्द्रपदं हित्वा ततः सिद्धिमवाप्स्यति ॥ ८-१३-१३ ॥
Bali Mahārāja gave a gift of three paces of land to Lord Viṣṇu, and because of this charity he lost all the three worlds. Later, however, when Lord Viṣṇu is pleased because of Bali’s giving everything to Him, Bali Mahārāja will achieve the perfection of life. ॥ 8-13-13 ॥

बलि महाराज ने भगवान् विष्णु को तीन पग भूमि दान में दी जिसके कारण उन्हें तीनों लोक खोने पड़े। किन्तु बाद में बलि द्वारा सर्वस्व दान दे दिये जाने पर जब भगवान् विष्णु प्रसन्न हुए तो बलि महाराज को जीवन की सिद्धि प्राप्त हो जाएगी। ॥ ८-१३-१३ ॥

योऽसौ भगवता बद्धः प्रीतेन सुतले पुनः । निवेशितोऽधिके स्वर्गादधुनाऽऽस्ते स्वराडिव ॥ ८-१३-१४ ॥
With great affection, the Personality of Godhead bound Bali and then installed him in the kingdom of Sutala, which is more opulent than the heavenly planets. Mahārāja Bali now resides on that planet and is more comfortably situated than Indra. ॥ 8-13-14 ॥

भगवान् ने प्रेमपूर्वक बलि को बाँध लिया और फिर उन्हें सुतल राज्य में अधिष्ठित किया जो स्वर्गलोक की अपेक्षा अधिक ऐश्वर्यशाली है। इस समय बलि महाराज उसी लोक में रहते हैं और इन्द्र की अपेक्षा अधिक सुखी हैं। ॥ ८-१३-१४ ॥
