स्वमातुः स्विन्नगात्राया विस्रस्तकबरस्रजः । दृष्ट्वा परिश्रमं कृष्णः कृपयाऽऽसीत्स्वबन्धने ॥ १०-९-१८ ॥
Because of mother Yaśodā’s hard labor, her whole body became covered with perspiration, and the flowers and comb were falling from her hair. When child Kṛṣṇa saw His mother thus fatigued, He became merciful to her and agreed to be bound. ॥ 10-9-18 ॥

माता यशोदा द्वारा कठिन परिश्रम किये जाने से उनका सारा शरीर पसीने से लथपथ हो गया और उनके केशों में लगी कंघी और गूँथे हुए फूल गिरे जा रहे थे। जब बालक कृष्ण ने अपनी माता को इतना थका-हारा देखा तो वे दयार्द्र हो उठे और अपने को बँधाने के लिए राजी हो गये। ॥ १०-९-१८ ॥
