ततोऽलब्धद्विजसुतो ह्यनिस्तीर्णप्रतिश्रुतः । अग्निं विविक्षुः कृष्णेन प्रत्युक्तः प्रतिषेधता ॥ १०-८९-४५ ॥

Finally, not having found the brāhmaṇa’s son anywhere, Arjuna decided to enter the sacred fire, having failed to keep his promise. But just as he was about to do so, Lord Kṛṣṇa stopped him and spoke the following words. ॥ 10-89-45 ॥

english translation

अंततः, ब्राह्मण के पुत्र को कहीं न पाकर, अर्जुन ने अपना वादा निभाने में असफल होने पर, पवित्र अग्नि में प्रवेश करने का निर्णय लिया। लेकिन जैसे ही वह ऐसा करने वाला था, भगवान कृष्ण ने उसे रोक दिया और निम्नलिखित शब्द बोले। ॥ १०-८९-४५ ॥
