विप्रो गृहीत्वा मृतकं राजद्वार्युपधाय सः । इदं प्रोवाच विलपन्नातुरो दीनमानसः ।। १०-८९-२३ ।।

sanskrit

The brāhmaṇa took the corpse and placed it at the door of King Ugrasena’s court. Then, agitated and lamenting miserably, he spoke the following. ।। 10-89-23 ।।

english translation

ब्राह्मण ने शव को ले जाकर राजा उग्रसेन के दरबार के दरवाजे पर रख दिया। फिर, उत्तेजित और बुरी तरह विलाप करते हुए, उन्होंने निम्नलिखित बात कही। ।। १०-८९-२३ ।।

vipro gRhItvA mRtakaM rAjadvAryupadhAya saH | idaM provAca vilapannAturo dInamAnasaH || 10-89-23 ||
