सूत उवाच इत्येतन्मुनितनयास्यपद्मगन्धपीयूषं भवभयभित्परस्य पुंसः । सुश्लोकं श्रवणपुटैः पिबत्यभीक्ष्णं पान्थोऽध्वभ्रमणपरिश्रमं जहाति ।। १०-८९-२१ ।।

Śrī Sūta Gosvāmī said: Thus did this fragrant nectar flow from the lotus mouth of Śukadeva Gosvāmī, the son of the sage Vyāsadeva. This wonderful glorification of the Supreme Person destroys all fear of material existence. A traveler who constantly drinks this nectar through his ear-holes will forget the fatigue brought on by wandering along the paths of worldly life ।। 10-89-21 ।।.

english translation

श्री सूत गोस्वामी ने कहा: इस प्रकार यह सुगंधित अमृत ऋषि व्यासदेव के पुत्र शुकदेव गोस्वामी के कमल मुख से प्रवाहित हुआ। सर्वोच्च व्यक्ति की यह अद्भुत महिमा भौतिक अस्तित्व के सभी भय को नष्ट कर देती है। जो यात्री लगातार अपने कानों के छिद्रों से इस अमृत का पान करता है, वह सांसारिक जीवन के पथों पर भटकने से होने वाली थकान को भूल जाएगा। ।। १०-८९-२१ ।।
