Srimad Bhagavatam
फलार्हणोशीरशिवामृताम्बुभिर्मृदा सुरभ्या तुलसीकुशाम्बुजैः । आराधयामास यथोपपन्नया सपर्यया सत्त्वविवर्धनान्धसा ॥ १०-८६-४१ ॥
He worshiped them with offerings of auspicious items easily available to him, such as fruits, uśīra root, pure, nectarean water, fragrant clay, tulasī leaves, kuśa grass and lotus flowers. Then he offered them food that increases the mode of goodness. ॥ 10-86-41 ॥
english translation
उन्होंने आसानी से उपलब्ध होने वाली शुभ वस्तुओं, जैसे फल, उशीरा जड़, शुद्ध, अमृत जल, सुगंधित मिट्टी, तुलसी के पत्ते, कुश घास और कमल के फूल के प्रसाद के साथ उनकी पूजा की। फिर उन्होंने उन्हें सात्विकता बढ़ाने वाला भोजन दिया। ॥ १०-८६-४१ ॥
