असावहम्ममैवैते देहे चास्यान्वयादिषु । स्नेहपाशैर्निबध्नाति भवान् सर्वमिदं जगत् ।। १०-८५-१७ ।।

sanskrit

You keep this whole world bound up by the ropes of affection, and thus when people consider their material bodies, they think, “This is me,” and when they consider their progeny and other relations, they think, “These are mine.” ।। 10-85-17 ।।

english translation

आप इस संपूर्ण विश्व को स्नेह की रस्सियों से बांधे रखते हैं, और इस प्रकार जब लोग अपने भौतिक शरीर पर विचार करते हैं, तो वे सोचते हैं, "यह मैं हूं," और जब वे अपनी संतानों और अन्य संबंधों पर विचार करते हैं, तो वे सोचते हैं, "ये मेरे हैं।" ।। १०-८५-१७ ।।
