रुक्मिण्युवाच चैद्याय मार्पयितुमुद्यतकार्मुकेषु राजस्वजेयभटशेखरिताङ्घ्रिरेणुः । निन्ये मृगेन्द्र इव भागमजावियूथात्तच्छ्रीनिकेतचरणोऽस्तु ममार्चनाय ।। १०-८३-८ ।।

Śrī Rukmiṇī said: When all the kings held their bows at the ready to assure that I would be presented to Śiśupāla, He who puts the dust of His feet on the heads of invincible warriors took me from their midst, as a lion forcibly takes his prey from the midst of goats and sheep. May I always be allowed to worship those feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa, the abode of Goddess Śrī. ।। 10-83-8 ।।

english translation

श्री रुक्मिणी ने कहा: जब सभी राजाओं ने यह आश्वासन देने के लिए कि मुझे शिशुपाल के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया जाएगा, अपने धनुष तैयार कर लिए, तो अजेय योद्धाओं के सिर पर अपने पैरों की धूल लगाने वाले राजा ने मुझे उनके बीच से उसी तरह छीन लिया, जैसे एक शेर जबरदस्ती अपने साथ ले जाता है। बकरियों और भेड़ों के बीच से शिकार। मुझे हमेशा भगवान कृष्ण के उन चरणों की पूजा करने की अनुमति दी जाए, जो देवी श्री के निवास हैं। ।। १०-८३-८ ।।
