मातरं पितरं भ्रातॄन् पतीन् पुत्रान् स्वसॄरपि । यदर्थे जहिम दाशार्ह दुस्त्यजान् स्वजनान् प्रभो ॥ १०-६५-११ ॥
“For Kṛṣṇa’s sake, O descendant of Dāśārha, we abandoned our mothers, fathers, brothers, husbands, children and sisters, even though these family relations are difficult to give up. But now, O Lord, ॥ 10-65-11 ॥
english translation
"कृष्ण के लिए, हे दशार्ह के वंशज, हमने अपनी मां, पिता, भाई, पतियों, बच्चों और बहनों को त्याग दिया, भले ही इन पारिवारिक रिश्तों को छोड़ना मुश्किल हो। परन्तु अब, हे प्रभु, ॥ १०-६५-११ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptता नः सद्यः परित्यज्य गतः सञ्छिन्नसौहृदः । कथं नु तादृशं स्त्रीभिर्न श्रद्धीयेत भाषितम् ॥ १०-६५-१२ ॥
that same Kṛṣṇa has suddenly abandoned us and gone away, breaking off all affectionate ties with us. And yet how could any woman fail to trust His promises? ॥ 10-65-12 ॥

वही कृष्ण अचानक हमें छोड़कर चले गए हैं, हमारे साथ सभी स्नेहपूर्ण संबंध तोड़ दिए हैं। और फिर भी कोई महिला उसके वादों पर भरोसा करने से कैसे चूक सकती है? ॥ १०-६५-१२ ॥

tA naH sadyaH parityajya gataH saJchinnasauhRdaH । kathaM nu tAdRzaM strIbhirna zraddhIyeta bhASitam ॥ 10-65-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकथं नु गृह्णन्त्यनवस्थितात्मनो वचः कृतघ्नस्य बुधाः पुरस्त्रियः । गृह्णन्ति वै चित्रकथस्य सुन्दरस्मितावलोकोच्छ्वसितस्मरातुराः ॥ १०-६५-१३ ॥
“How can intelligent city women possibly trust the words of one whose heart is so unsteady and who is so ungrateful? They must believe Him because He speaks so wonderfully, and also because His beautiful smiling glances arouse their lust. ॥ 10-65-13 ॥
english translation
“बुद्धिमान शहरी महिलाएँ उस व्यक्ति की बातों पर कैसे भरोसा कर सकती हैं जिसका दिल इतना अस्थिर है और जो इतना कृतघ्न है? उन्हें उस पर विश्वास करना चाहिए क्योंकि वह बहुत अद्भुत ढंग से बोलता है, और इसलिए भी क्योंकि उसकी सुंदर मुस्कुराती झलकियाँ उनकी वासना को जगाती हैं। ॥ १०-६५-१३ ॥

kathaM nu gRhNantyanavasthitAtmano vacaH kRtaghnasya budhAH purastriyaH । gRhNanti vai citrakathasya sundarasmitAvalokocchvasitasmarAturAH ॥ 10-65-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकिं नस्तत्कथया गोप्यः कथाः कथयतापराः । यात्यस्माभिर्विना कालो यदि तस्य तथैव नः ॥ १०-६५-१४ ॥
“Why bother talking about Him, dear gopī? Please talk of something else. If He passes His time without us, then we shall similarly pass ours ॥ without Him॥.” ॥ 10-65-14 ॥
english translation
“उसके बारे में बात करने में परेशान क्यों हो, प्रिय गोपी? कृपया कुछ और बात करें. यदि वह हमारे बिना अपना समय व्यतीत करता है, तो हम भी अपना समय ॥ उसके बिना॥ व्यतीत करेंगे।'' ॥ १०-६५-१४ ॥

kiM nastatkathayA gopyaH kathAH kathayatAparAH । yAtyasmAbhirvinA kAlo yadi tasya tathaiva naH ॥ 10-65-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइति प्रहसितं शौरेर्जल्पितं चारु वीक्षितम् । गतिं प्रेमपरिष्वङ्गं स्मरन्त्यो रुरुदुः स्त्रियः ॥ १०-६५-१५ ॥
While speaking these words, the young cowherd women remembered Lord Śauri’s laughter, His pleasing conversations with them, His attractive glances, His style of walking and His loving embraces. Thus they began to cry. ॥ 10-65-15 ॥

इन शब्दों को बोलते समय, युवा चरवाहे महिलाओं को भगवान शौरी की हँसी, उनके साथ उनकी मनभावन बातचीत, उनकी आकर्षक झलकियाँ, उनकी चलने की शैली और उनके प्रेमपूर्ण आलिंगन याद आए। इस प्रकार वे रोने लगे। ॥ १०-६५-१५ ॥
