भगवान् भीष्मकसुतामेवं निर्जित्य भूमिपान् । पुरमानीय विधिवदुपयेमे कुरूद्वह ॥ १०-५४-५३ ॥
Thus defeating all the opposing kings, the Supreme Personality of Godhead brought the daughter of Bhīṣmaka to His capital and married her according to the Vedic injunctions, O protector of the Kurus. ॥ 10-54-53 ॥

इस प्रकार, सभी विरोधी राजाओं को पराजित करते हुए, भगवान का परम व्यक्तित्व भीष्मक की बेटी को अपनी राजधानी में लाया और वैदिक आदेशों के अनुसार उससे विवाह किया, हे कौरवों के रक्षक। ॥ १०-५४-५३ ॥
