यथा शयान आत्मानं विषयान् फलमेव च । अनुभुङ्क्तेऽप्यसत्यर्थे तथाऽऽप्नोत्यबुधो भवम् ।। १०-५४-४८ ।।

sanskrit

As a sleeping person perceives himself, the objects of sense enjoyment and the fruits of his acts within the illusion of a dream, so one who is unintelligent undergoes material existence. ।। 10-54-48 ।।

english translation

जैसे सोता हुआ व्यक्ति स्वप्न के भ्रम में स्वयं को, इंद्रिय भोग की वस्तुओं और अपने कर्मों के फल को देखता है, वैसे ही जो अज्ञानी है वह भौतिक अस्तित्व से गुजरता है। ।। १०-५४-४८ ।।
