सैवं शनैश्चलयती चलपद्मकोशौ प्राप्तिं तदा भगवतः प्रसमीक्षमाणा । उत्सार्य वामकरजैरलकानपाङ्गैः प्राप्तान् ह्रियैक्षत नृपान् ददृशेऽच्युतं सा ॥ १०-५३-५४ ॥
Slowly she advanced the two moving lotus-whorls of her feet, awaiting the arrival of the Supreme Lord. With the fingernails of her left hand she pushed some strands of hair away from her face and shyly looked from the corners of her eyes at the kings standing before her. ॥ 10-53-54 ॥

धीरे-धीरे उसने परम भगवान के आगमन की प्रतीक्षा करते हुए, अपने पैरों के दो गतिशील कमल-चक्रों को आगे बढ़ाया। उसने अपने बाएँ हाथ के नाखूनों से बालों की कुछ लटें अपने चेहरे से दूर हटा दीं और शर्म से अपनी आँखों के कोनों से अपने सामने खड़े राजाओं की ओर देखने लगी। ॥ १०-५३-५४ ॥
