चक्रुः सामर्ग्यजुर्मन्त्रैर्वध्वा रक्षां द्विजोत्तमाः । पुरोहितोऽथर्वविद्वै जुहाव ग्रहशान्तये ॥ १०-५३-१२ ॥
The best of brāhmaṇas chanted mantras of the Ṛg, Sāma and Yajur Vedas for the bride’s protection, and the priest learned in the Atharva Veda offered oblations to pacify the controlling planets. ॥ 10-53-12 ॥
english translation
सर्वश्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणों ने दुल्हन की सुरक्षा के लिए ऋग्, साम और यजुर्वेद के मंत्रों का जाप किया और अथर्ववेद के विद्वान पुजारी ने नियंत्रित ग्रहों को शांत करने के लिए आहुतियां दीं। ॥ १०-५३-१२ ॥
