नूनं ह्यदृष्टनिष्ठोऽयमदृष्टपरमो जनः । अदृष्टमात्मनस्तत्त्वं यो वेद न स मुह्यति ।। १०-५-३० ।।

Every man is certainly controlled by destiny, which determines the results of one’s fruitive activities. In other words, one has a son or daughter because of unseen destiny, and when the son or daughter is no longer present, this also is due to unseen destiny. Destiny is the ultimate controller of everyone. One who knows this is never bewildered. ।। 10-5-30 ।।

english translation

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति निश्चय ही प्रारब्ध द्वारा नियंत्रित होता है क्योंकि उसी से मनुष्य के सकाम कर्मों के फल निर्धारित होते हैं। दूसरे शब्दों में, अदृष्ट प्रारब्ध के कारण ही मनुष्य को पुत्र या पुत्री प्राप्त होती है और जब पुत्र या पुत्री नहीं रहते, तो वह भी अदृष्ट प्रारब्ध के ही कारण होता है। प्रारब्ध ही हर एक का अनन्तिम नियंत्रक है। जो इसे जानता है, वह कभी मोहग्रस्त नहीं होता। ।। १०-५-३० ।।
