तेज ओजो बलं वीर्यं प्रश्रयादींश्च सद्गुणान् । प्रजानुरागं पार्थेषु न सहद्भिश्चिकीर्षितम् ॥ १०-४९-५ ॥
Kuntī and Vidura described to Akrūra in detail the evil intentions of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s sons, who could not tolerate the great qualities of Kuntī’s sons — such as their powerful influence, military skill, physical strength, bravery and humility ॥ 10-49-5 ॥
english translation
अक्रूर से कुन्ती तथा विदुर ने धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्रों की दुर्भावनाओं का विस्तार से वर्णन किया। वे कुन्ती के पुत्रों के महान् गुणों—यथा उनके शक्तिशाली प्रभाव, सैन्य-कौशल, शारीरिक बल, बहादुरी तथा विनयशीलता— ॥ १०-४९-५ ॥
