उद्गायतीनामरविन्दलोचनं व्रजाङ्गनानां दिवमस्पृशद्ध्वनिः । दध्नश्च निर्मन्थनशब्दमिश्रितो निरस्यते येन दिशाममङ्गलम् ॥ १०-४६-४६ ॥
As the ladies of Vraja loudly sang the glories of lotus-eyed Kṛṣṇa, their songs blended with the sound of their churning, ascended to the sky and dissipated all inauspiciousness in every direction. ॥ 10-46-46 ॥
english translation
जब व्रज की स्त्रियाँ कमल-नेत्र कृष्ण की महिमा का गायन जोर-जोर से करने लगीं तो उनके गीत उनके मथने की ध्वनि से मिल कर आकाश तक उठ गये और उन्होंने सारी दिशाओं के अमंगल को दूर कर दिया। ॥ १०-४६-४६ ॥

भगवत्युदिते सूर्ये नन्दद्वारि व्रजौकसः । दृष्ट्वा रथं शातकौम्भं कस्यायमिति चाब्रुवन् ॥ १०-४६-४७ ॥
When the godly sun had risen, the people of Vraja noticed the golden chariot in front of Nanda Mahārāja’s doorway. “Who does this belong to?” they asked. ॥ 10-46-47 ॥
english translation
जब सूर्यदेव उदित हो चुके तो व्रजवासियों ने नन्द महाराज के दरवाजे के सामने एक सुनहरा रथ देखा। (अत:) उन्होंने पूछा, “यह किसका रथ है?” ॥ १०-४६-४७ ॥

अक्रूर आगतः किं वा यः कंसस्यार्थसाधकः । येन नीतो मधुपुरीं कृष्णः कमललोचनः ॥ १०-४६-४८ ॥
“Perhaps Akrūra has returned — he who fulfilled Kaṁsa’s desire by taking lotus-eyed Kṛṣṇa to Mathurā. ॥ 10-46-48 ॥

“शायद अक्रूर लौट आया है—वही जिसने कमल-नेत्र कृष्ण को मथुरा ले जाकर कंस की इच्छा पूरी की थी। ॥ १०-४६-४८ ॥

किं साधयिष्यत्यस्माभिर्भर्तुः प्रेतस्य निष्कृतिम् । इति स्त्रीणां वदन्तीनामुद्धवोऽगात्कृताह्निकः ॥ १०-४६-४९ ॥
“Is he going to use our flesh to offer funeral oblations for his master, who was so satisfied with his service?” As the women were speaking in this way, Uddhava appeared, having finished his early-morning duties. ॥ 10-46-49 ॥

जब स्त्रियाँ इस तरह बोल ही रही थीं कि, “क्या वह अपनी सेवाओं से प्रसन्न हुए अपने स्वामी के पिण्डदान के लिए हमारे मांस को अर्पित करने जा रहा है?” तभी प्रात:कालीन कृत्यों से निवृत्त हुए उद्धव दिखलाई पड़े। ॥ १०-४६-४९ ॥
