स्मरतां कृष्णवीर्याणि लीलापाङ्गनिरीक्षितम् । हसितं भाषितं चाङ्ग सर्वा नः शिथिलाः क्रियाः ॥ १०-४६-२१ ॥
As we remember the wonderful deeds Kṛṣṇa performed, His playful sidelong glances, His smiles and His words, O Uddhava, we forget all our material engagements. ॥ 10-46-21 ॥
english translation
जब हम कृष्ण द्वारा सम्पन्न किये गये अद्भुत कार्यों, उसकी चपल चितवन, उसकी हँसी तथा उसकी वाणी का स्मरण करते हैं, तो हे उद्धव, हम अपने सारे भौतिक कार्यों को भूल जाते हैं। ॥ १०-४६-२१ ॥

सरिच्छैलवनोद्देशान् मुकुन्दपदभूषितान् । आक्रीडानीक्षमाणानां मनो याति तदात्मताम् ॥ १०-४६-२२ ॥
When we see the places where Mukunda enjoyed His sporting pastimes — the rivers, hills and forests He decorated with His feet — our minds become totally absorbed in Him. ॥ 10-46-22 ॥

जब हम उन स्थानों को—यथा नदियों, पर्वतों तथा जंगलों को—देखते हैं, जिन्हें उसने अपने पैरों से सुशोभित किया और जहाँ उसने क्रीड़ाएँ तथा लीलाएँ कीं तो हमारे मन उसमें पूर्णतया लीन हो जाते हैं। ॥ १०-४६-२२ ॥

मन्ये कृष्णं च रामं च प्राप्ताविह सुरोत्तमौ । सुराणां महदर्थाय गर्गस्य वचनं यथा ॥ १०-४६-२३ ॥
In my opinion, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma must be two exalted demigods who have come to this planet to fulfill some great mission of the demigods. Such was foretold by Garga Ṛṣi. ॥ 10-46-23 ॥

मेरे विचार से कृष्ण तथा बलराम अवश्य ही दो श्रेष्ठ देवता हैं, जो इस लोक में देवताओं का कोई महान् उद्देश्य पूरा करने आये हैं। गर्ग ऋषि ने ऐसी ही भविष्यवाणी की थी। ॥ १०-४६-२३ ॥

कंसं नागायुतप्राणं मल्लौ गजपतिं तथा । अवधिष्टां लीलयैव पशूनिव मृगाधिपः ॥ १०-४६-२४ ॥
After all, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma killed Kaṁsa, who was as strong as ten thousand elephants, as well as the wrestlers Cāṇūra and Muṣṭika and the elephant Kuvalayāpīḍa. They killed them all sportingly, as easily as a lion disposes of small animals. ॥ 10-46-24 ॥

अन्तत: कृष्ण तथा बलराम ने दस हजार हाथियों जितने बलशाली कंस को और साथ ही साथ चाणूर और मुष्टिक पहलवानों एवं कुवलयापीड हाथी को मार डाला। उन्होंने इन सबों को उसी तरह खेल-खेल में आसानी से मार डाला जिस तरह सिंह छोटे पशुओं का सफाया कर देता है। ॥ १०-४६-२४ ॥

तालत्रयं महासारं धनुर्यष्टिमिवेभराट् । बभञ्जैकेन हस्तेन सप्ताहमदधाद्गिरिम् ॥ १०-४६-२५ ॥
With the ease of a royal elephant breaking a stick, Kṛṣṇa broke a powerful, giant bow three tālas long. He also held a mountain aloft for seven days with just one hand. ॥ 10-46-25 ॥
english translation
जिस आसानी से कोई तेजस्वी हाथी किसी छड़ी को तोड़ देता है उसी तरह से कृष्ण ने तीन ताल जितने लम्बे एवं सुदृढ़ धनुष को तोड़ डाला। वे सात दिनों तक पर्वत को केवल एक हाथ से ऊपर उठाये रहे। ॥ १०-४६-२५ ॥
