कच्चिदङ्ग महाभाग सखा नः शूरनन्दनः । आस्ते कुशल्यपत्याद्यैर्युक्तो मुक्तः सुहृद्वृतः ॥ १०-४६-१६ ॥
[Nanda Mahārāja said:] My dear most fortunate one, does the son of Śūra fare well, now that he is free and has rejoined his children and other relatives? ॥ 10-46-16 ॥
english translation
[नन्द महाराज ने कहा] : हे परम भाग्यशाली, अब शूर का पुत्र मुक्त हो चुकने और अपने बच्चों तथा अन्य सम्बन्धियों से पुन: मिल जाने के बाद कुशल से है न? ॥ १०-४६-१६ ॥

दिष्ट्या कंसो हतः पापः सानुगः स्वेन पाप्मना । साधूनां धर्मशीलानां यदूनां द्वेष्टि यः सदा ॥ १०-४६-१७ ॥
Fortunately, because of his own sins, the sinful Kaṁsa has been killed, along with all his brothers. He always hated the saintly and righteous Yadus. ॥ 10-46-17 ॥

सौभाग्यवश, अपने ही पापों के कारण पापात्मा कंस अपने समस्त भाइयों सहित मारा जा चुका है। वह सदैव सन्त तथा धर्मात्मा यदुओं से घृणा करता था। ॥ १०-४६-१७ ॥

अपि स्मरति नः कृष्णो मातरं सुहृदः सखीन् । गोपान् व्रजं चात्मनाथं गावो वृन्दावनं गिरिम् ॥ १०-४६-१८ ॥
Does Kṛṣṇa remember us? Does He remember His mother and His friends and well-wishers? Does He remember the cowherds and their village of Vraja, of which He is the master? Does He remember the cows, Vṛndāvana forest and Govardhana Hill? ॥ 10-46-18 ॥

क्या कृष्ण हमारी याद करता है? क्या वह अपनी माता तथा अपने मित्रों एवं शुभचिन्तकों की याद करता है? क्या वह ग्वालों तथा उनके गाँव व्रज को, जिसका वह स्वामी है, स्मरण करता है? क्या वह गौवों, वृन्दावन के जंगल तथा गोवर्धन पर्वत की याद करता है? ॥ १०-४६-१८ ॥

अप्यायास्यति गोविन्दः स्वजनान् सकृदीक्षितुम् । तर्हि द्रक्ष्याम तद्वक्त्रं सुनसं सुस्मितेक्षणम् ॥ १०-४६-१९ ॥
Will Govinda return even once to see His family? If He ever does, we may then glance upon His beautiful face, with its beautiful eyes, nose and smile. ॥ 10-46-19 ॥

क्या गोविन्द अपने परिवार को देखने एक बार भी वापस आयेगा? यदि वह कभी आयेगा तो हम उसके सुन्दर नेत्र, नाक तथा मुसकाते सुन्दर मुख को देख सकेंगे। ॥ १०-४६-१९ ॥

दावाग्नेर्वातवर्षाच्च वृषसर्पाच्च रक्षिताः । दुरत्ययेभ्यो मृत्युभ्यः कृष्णेन सुमहात्मना ॥ १०-४६-२० ॥
We were saved from the forest fire, the wind and rain, the bull and serpent demons — from all such insurmountable, deadly dangers — by that very great soul, Kṛṣṇa. ॥ 10-46-20 ॥
english translation
उस महान-आत्मा कृष्ण द्वारा हम जंगल की आग, तेज हवा तथा वर्षा, साँड़ तथा सर्प रूपी असुरों जैसे दुर्लंघ्य घातक संकटों से बचा लिये गये थे। ॥ १०-४६-२० ॥
