Srimad Bhagavatam
तदङ्गप्रभवं शङ्खमादाय रथमागमत् । ततः संयमनीं नाम यमस्य दयितां पुरीम् ॥ १०-४५-४२ ॥
Lord Janārdana took the conchshell that had grown around the demon’s body and went back to the chariot. Then He proceeded to Saṁyamanī, the beloved capital of Yamarāja, the lord of death. ॥ 10-45-42 ॥
english translation
भगवान् जनार्दन ने वह शंख ले लिया जो उस दैत्य के शरीर के चारों ओर उगा हुआ था और रथ पर वापस चले गये। इसके पश्चात् वे यमराज की प्रिय राजधानी संयमनी गये। ॥ १०-४५-४२ ॥

tadaGgaprabhavaM zaGkhamAdAya rathamAgamat । tataH saMyamanIM nAma yamasya dayitAM purIm ॥ 10-45-42 ॥
