नित्यं प्रमुदिता गोपा वत्सपाला यथा स्फुटम् । वनेषु मल्लयुद्धेन क्रीडन्तश्चारयन्ति गाः ॥ १०-४३-३४ ॥

It is well known that cowherd boys are always joyful as they tend their calves, and that the boys playfully wrestle with each other while grazing their animals in the various forests. ॥ 10-43-34 ॥

english translation

यह सर्वविदित है कि ग्वालों के बालक अपने बछड़ों को चराते हुए सदैव प्रमुदित रहते हैं और विविध जंगलों में अपने पशुओं को चराते हुए खेल खेल में कुश्ती लड़ते रहते हैं। ॥ १०-४३-३४ ॥
