पिबन्त इव चक्षुर्भ्यां लिहन्त इव जिह्वया । जिघ्रन्त इव नासाभ्यां श्लिष्यन्त इव बाहुभिः ॥ १०-४३-२१ ॥
The people seemed to be drinking Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma with their eyes, licking Them with their tongues, smelling Them with their nostrils and embracing Them with their arms. ॥ 10-43-21 ॥

ऐसा प्रतीत हो रहा था मानो लोग अपनी आँखों से कृष्ण तथा बलराम का पान कर रहे हों, अपनी जीभों से उन्हें चाट रहे हों, अपने नथुनों से उन्हें ही सूँघ रहे हों तथा अपनी बाहों से उनका आलिंगन कर रहे हों। ॥ १०-४३-२१ ॥

ऊचुः परस्परं ते वै यथादृष्टं यथाश्रुतम् । तद्रूपगुणमाधुर्यप्रागल्भ्यस्मारिता इव ॥ १०-४३-२२ ॥
Reminded of the Lords’ beauty, character, charm and bravery, the members of the audience began describing these features to one another according to what they had seen and heard. ॥ 10-43-22 ॥

भगवान् के सौन्दर्य, चरित्र, माधुर्य तथा बहादुरी का स्मरण करके दर्शकगण देखे तथा सुने गये इन लक्षणों का वर्णन एक-दूसरे से करने लगे। ॥ १०-४३-२२ ॥

एतौ भगवतः साक्षाद्धरेर्नारायणस्य हि । अवतीर्णाविहांशेन वसुदेवस्य वेश्मनि ॥ १०-४३-२३ ॥
[The people said:] These two boys are certainly expansions of the Supreme Lord Nārāyaṇa who have descended to this world in the home of Vasudeva. ॥ 10-43-23 ॥

[लोगों ने कहा] ये दोनों बालक निश्चय ही भगवान् नारायण के अंश हैं, जो इस जगत में वसुदेव के घर में अवतरित हुए हैं। ॥ १०-४३-२३ ॥

एष वै किल देवक्यां जातो नीतश्च गोकुलम् । कालमेतं वसन् गूढो ववृधे नन्दवेश्मनि ॥ १०-४३-२४ ॥
This one [Kṛṣṇa] took birth from mother Devakī and was brought to Gokula, where He has remained concealed all this time, growing up in the house of King Nanda. ॥ 10-43-24 ॥

उन्होंने (कृष्ण ने) माता देवकी से जन्म लिया और गोकुल ले जाये गए जहाँ वे इतने समय तक राजा नन्द के घर में छिपकर बढ़ते रहे। ॥ १०-४३-२४ ॥

पूतनानेन नीतान्तं चक्रवातश्च दानवः । अर्जुनौ गुह्यकः केशी धेनुकोऽन्ये च तद्विधाः ॥ १०-४३-२५ ॥
He made Pūtanā and the whirlwind demon meet with death, pulled down the twin Arjuna trees, and killed Śaṅkhacūḍa, Keśī, Dhenuka and similar demons. ॥ 10-43-25 ॥

इन्होंने पूतना तथा चक्रवात असुर का प्राणान्त कर दिया, यमलार्जुन वृक्षों को गिरा दिया और शंखचूड़, केशी, धेनुक तथा ऐसे ही असुरों का वध कर दिया। ॥ १०-४३-२५ ॥
