मा शोचतं महाभागावात्मजान् स्वकृतम्भुजः । जन्तवो न सदैकत्र दैवाधीनास्तदासते ॥ १०-४-१८ ॥
O great souls, your children have suffered their own misfortune. Therefore, please do not lament for them. All living entities are under the control of the Supreme, and they cannot always live together. ॥ 10-4-18 ॥

हे महान् आत्माओ, तुम दोनों के पुत्रों को अपने ही दुर्भाग्य का फल भोगना पड़ा है। अत: तुम उनके लिए शोक मत करो। सारे जीव परमेश्वर के नियंत्रण में होते हैं और वे सदैव एकसाथ नहीं रह सकते। ॥ १०-४-१८ ॥
