प्रधानपुरुषावाद्यौ जगद्धेतू जगत्पती । अवतीर्णौ जगत्यर्थे स्वांशेन बलकेशवौ ॥ १०-३८-३२ ॥
They were the primeval Supreme Personalities, the masters and original causes of the universes, who had for the welfare of the earth now descended in Their distinct forms of Keśava and Balarāma. ॥ 10-38-32 ॥

इन आदि महापुरुषों तथा ब्रह्माण्डों के आदि कारणों ने पृथ्वी के कल्याण हेतु अब केशव तथा बलराम के रूप में अवतार लिया था। ॥ १०-३८-३२ ॥
