स लब्धसंज्ञः पुनरुत्थितो रुषा व्यादाय केशी तरसाऽऽपतद्धरिम् । सोऽप्यस्य वक्त्रे भुजमुत्तरं स्मयन् प्रवेशयामास यथोरगं बिले ॥ १०-३७-६ ॥
Upon regaining consciousness Keśī angrily got up, opened his mouth wide and again rushed to attack Lord Kṛṣṇa. But the Lord just smiled and thrust His left arm into the horse’s mouth as easily as one would make a snake enter a hole in the ground. ॥ 10-37-6 ॥

पुन: चेतना लौट आने पर केशी क्रोधपूर्वक उठा। उसने अपना मुख पूरा खोल दिया और वह पुन: कृष्ण पर आक्रमण करने दौड़ा। किन्तु कृष्ण हँस दिये और अपनी बाईं भुजा उस घोड़े के मुँह में उसी सुगमता से डाल दी जिस तरह कोई साँप भूमि में बने छेद में घुसा जाता है। ॥ १०-३७-६ ॥
