यदुपतिर्द्विरदराजविहारो यामिनीपतिरिवैष दिनान्ते । मुदितवक्त्र उपयाति दुरन्तं मोचयन् व्रजगवां दिनतापम् ।। १०-३५-२५ ।।

sanskrit

With His cheerful face resembling the moon, lord of the night, the Lord of the Yadus moves with the grace of a regal elephant. Thus He returns in the evening, delivering the cows of Vraja from the heat of the day. ।। 10-35-25 ।।

english translation

रात्रि के स्वामी चन्द्रमा के सदृश अपने प्रसन्न मुख वाले यदुपति राजसी हाथी की अदा से चल रहे हैं। इस तरह वे व्रज की गौवों को दिन-भर की गर्मी से छुटकारा दिलाते हुए संध्या-समय घर लौटते हैं। ।। १०-३५-२५ ।।
