श्रीशुक उवाच धर्मव्यतिक्रमो दृष्ट ईश्वराणां च साहसम् । तेजीयसां न दोषाय वह्नेः सर्वभुजो यथा ।। १०-३३-३० ।।

sanskrit

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: The status of powerful controllers is not harmed by any apparently audacious transgression of morality we may see in them, for they are just like fire, which devours everything fed into it and remains unpolluted. ।। 10-33-30 ।।

english translation

शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा : शक्तिशाली नियन्ताओं के पद पर किसी ऊपरी साहसपूर्ण उल्लंघन से जो हम उनमें देख पायें, कोई आँच नहीं आती क्योंकि वे उस अग्नि के समान होते हैं, जो हर वस्तु को निगल जाती है और अदूषित बनी रहती है। ।। १०-३३-३० ।।
