राजोवाच संस्थापनाय धर्मस्य प्रशमायेतरस्य च । अवतीर्णो हि भगवानंशेन जगदीश्वरः ॥ १०-३३-२७ ॥
Parīkṣit Mahārāja said: O brāhmaṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Lord of the universe, has descended to this earth along with His plenary portion to destroy irreligion and reestablish religious principles. ॥ 10-33-27 ॥
english translation
परीक्षित महाराज ने कहा, “हे ब्राह्मण, ब्रह्माण्ड के स्वामी पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् अपने स्वांश सहित इस धरा में अधर्म का नाश करने तथा धर्म की पुनर्स्थापना करने हेतु अवतरित हुए हैं। ॥ १०-३३-२७ ॥
