योऽयं कालस्तस्य तेऽव्यक्तबन्धो चेष्टामाहुश्चेष्टते येन विश्वम् । निमेषादिर्वत्सरान्तो महीयांस्तं त्वेशानं क्षेमधाम प्रपद्ये ।। १०-३-२६ ।।

O inaugurator of the material energy, this wonderful creation works under the control of powerful time, which is divided into seconds, minutes, hours and years. This element of time, which extends for many millions of years, is but another form of Lord Viṣṇu. For Your pastimes, You act as the controller of time, but You are the reservoir of all good fortune. Let me offer my full surrender unto Your Lordship. ।। 10-3-26 ।।

english translation

हे भौतिक शक्ति के प्रारम्भकर्ता, यह अद्भुत सृष्टि शक्तिशाली काल के नियंत्रण में कार्य करती है, जो सेकंड, मिनट, घंटा तथा वर्षों में विभाजित है। यह काल तत्त्व, जो लाखों वर्षों तक फैला हुआ है, भगवान् विष्णु का ही अन्य रूप है। आप अपनी लीलाओं के लिए काल के नियंत्रक की भूमिका अदा करते हैं, किन्तु आप समस्त सौभाग्य के आगार हैं। मैं पूरी तरह आपकी शरणागत हूँ। ।। १०-३-२६ ।।
