स्वभावतन्त्रो हि जनः स्वभावमनुवर्तते । स्वभावस्थमिदं सर्वं सदेवासुरमानुषम् ।। १०-२४-१६ ।।

sanskrit

Every individual is under the control of his own conditioned nature, and thus he must follow that nature. This entire universe, with all its demigods, demons and human beings, is based on the conditioned nature of the living entities. ।। 10-24-16 ।।

english translation

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपने ही बद्ध स्वभाव के अधीन है और उसे उस स्वभाव का ही पालन करना चाहिए। देवताओं, असुरों तथा मनुष्यों से युक्त यह सम्पूर्ण जगत जीवों के बद्ध स्वभाव पर आश्रित है। ।। १०-२४-१६ ।।
