निषिध्यमानाः पतिभिर्भ्रातृभिर्बन्धुभिः सुतैः । भगवत्युत्तमश्लोके दीर्घश्रुतधृताशयाः ।। १०-२३-२० ।।

sanskrit

Although their husbands, brothers, sons and other relatives tried to forbid them from going, their hope of seeing Kṛṣṇa, cultivated by extensive hearing of His transcendental qualities, won out. ।। 10-23-20 ।।

english translation

यद्यपि उनके पतियों, भाइयों, पुत्रों तथा अन्य सम्बन्धियों ने उन्हें जाने से रोका किन्तु कृष्ण के दिव्य गुणों का दीर्घकाल से श्रवण करते रहने से कृष्ण को देखने की उनकी आशा विजयी हुई। ।। १०-२३-२० ।।
