चतुर्विधं बहुगुणमन्नमादाय भाजनैः । अभिसस्रुः प्रियं सर्वाः समुद्रमिव निम्नगाः ॥ १०-२३-१९ ॥
Taking along in large vessels the four kinds of foods, full of fine tastes and aromas, all the ladies went forth to meet their beloved, just as rivers flow toward the sea. ॥ 10-23-19 ॥

बड़े बड़े पात्रों में उत्तम स्वाद तथा सुगन्ध से पूर्ण चारों प्रकार का भोजन लेकर सारी स्त्रियाँ अपने प्रियतम से मिलने उसी तरह आगे बढ़ चलीं जिस तरह नदियाँ समुद्र की ओर बहती हैं। ॥ १०-२३-१९ ॥
