परिधाय स्ववासांसि प्रेष्ठसङ्गमसज्जिताः । गृहीतचित्ता नो चेलुस्तस्मिन् लज्जायितेक्षणाः ॥ १०-२२-२३ ॥
The gopīs were addicted to associating with their beloved Kṛṣṇa, and thus they became captivated by Him. Thus, even after putting their clothes on they did not move. They simply remained where they were, shyly glancing at Him. ॥ 10-22-23 ॥

गोपियाँ अपने प्रिय कृष्ण से मिलने के लिए आतुर थीं अतएव वे उनके द्वारा मोह ली गईं। इस तरह अपने अपने वस्त्र पहन लेने के बाद भी वे हिलीही नहीं। वे लजाती हुई उन्हीं पर टकटकी लगाये जहाँ की तहाँ खड़ी रहीं। ॥ १०-२२-२३ ॥
