आप्लुत्याम्भसि कालिन्द्या जलान्ते चोदितेऽरुणे । कृत्वा प्रतिकृतिं देवीमानर्चुर्नृप सैकतीम् ॥ १०-२२-२ ॥

My dear King, after they had bathed in the water of the Yamunā just as the sun was rising, the gopīs made an earthen deity of goddess Durgā on the riverbank. ॥ 10-22-2 ॥

english translation

हे राजन्, सूर्योदय होते ही यमुना के जल में स्नान करके वे गोपियाँ नदी के तट पर देवी दुर्गा का मिट्टी का अर्चाविग्रह बनातीं। ॥ १०-२२-२ ॥
