श्रीभगवानुवाच भवत्यो यदि मे दास्यो मयोक्तं वा करिष्यथ । अत्रागत्य स्ववासांसि प्रतीच्छत शुचिस्मिताः । (नो चेन्नाहं प्रदास्ये किं क्रुद्धो राजा करिष्यति) ॥ १०-२२-१६ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: If you girls are actually My maidservants, and if you will really do what I say, then come here with your innocent smiles and let each girl pick out her clothes. If you don’t do what I say, I won’t give them back to you. And even if the king becomes angry, what can he do? ॥ 10-22-16 ॥

भगवान् ने कहा : यदि तुम सचमुच मेरी दासियाँ हो और मैं जो कहता हूँ उसे वास्तव में करोगी तो फिर अपनी अबोध भाव से मुस्कान भरकर यहाँ आओ और अपने अपने वस्त्र चुन लो। यदि तुम मेरे कहने के अनुसार नहीं करोगी तो मैं तुम्हारे वस्त्र वापस नहीं दूँगा। और यदि राजा नाराज भी हो जाये तो वह मेरा क्या बिगाड़ सकता है? ॥ १०-२२-१६ ॥
