तस्य तत्क्ष्वेलितं दृष्ट्वा गोप्यः प्रेमपरिप्लुताः । व्रीडिताः प्रेक्ष्य चान्योन्यं जातहासा न निर्ययुः ।। १०-२२-१२ ।।

sanskrit

Seeing how Kṛṣṇa was joking with them, the gopīs became fully immersed in love for Him, and as they glanced at each other they began to laugh and joke among themselves, even in their embarrassment. But still they did not come out of the water. ।। 10-22-12 ।।

english translation

यह देखकर कि कृष्ण उनसे किस तरह ठिठोली कर रहे हैं, गोपियाँ उनके प्रेम में पूरी तरह निमग्न हो गईं और उलझन में होते हुए भी एक दूसरे की ओर देख-देखकर हँसने तथा परस्पर परिहास करने लगीं। लेकिन तो भी वे जल से बाहर नहीं आईं। ।। १०-२२-१२ ।।

tasya tatkSvelitaM dRSTvA gopyaH premapariplutAH | vrIDitAH prekSya cAnyonyaM jAtahAsA na niryayuH || 10-22-12 ||
