नद्यस्तदा तदुपधार्य मुकुन्दगीतमावर्तलक्षितमनोभवभग्नवेगाः । आलिङ्गनस्थगितमूर्मिभुजैर्मुरारेः गृह्णन्ति पादयुगलं कमलोपहाराः ।। १०-२१-१५ ।।

sanskrit

When the rivers hear the flute-song of Kṛṣṇa, their minds begin to desire Him, and thus the flow of their currents is broken and their waters are agitated, moving around in whirlpools. Then with the arms of their waves the rivers embrace Murāri’s lotus feet and, holding on to them, present offerings of lotus flowers. ।। 10-21-15 ।।

english translation

जब नदियाँ कृष्ण का वेणुगीत सुनती हैं, तो उनके मन उन्हें चाहने लगते हैं जिससे नदियों की धाराओं का प्रवाह खंडित हो जाता है और जल क्षुब्ध हो उठता है और भँवर बनकर घूमने लगता है। तत्पश्चात् नदियाँ अपनी लहरों रूपी भुजाओं से मुरारी के चरणकमलों का आलिंगन करती हैं और उन्हें पकडक़र उनपर कमलपुष्पों की भेंटें चढ़ाती हैं। ।। १०-२१-१५ ।।
