सान्द्रनीलाम्बुदैर्व्योम सविद्युत्स्तनयित्नुभिः । अस्पष्टज्योतिराच्छन्नं ब्रह्मेव सगुणं बभौ ।। १०-२०-४ ।।

sanskrit

The sky was then covered by dense blue clouds accompanied by lightning and thunder. Thus the sky and its natural illumination were covered in the same way that the spirit soul is covered by the three modes of material nature. ।। 10-20-4 ।।

english translation

तत्पश्चात् बिजली तथा गरज से युक्त घने नीले बादलों से आकाश आच्छादित हो गया। इस तरह आकाश तथा उसकी प्राकृतिक ज्योति उसी तरह ढक गये जिस तरह आत्मा प्रकृति के तीन गुणों से आच्छादित हो जाता है। ।। १०-२०-४ ।।
