आचेरुर्विविधाः क्रीडा वाह्यवाहकलक्षणाः । यत्रारोहन्ति जेतारो वहन्ति च पराजिताः ॥ १०-१८-२१ ॥
The boys played various games involving carriers and passengers. In these games the winners would climb up on the backs of the losers, who would have to carry them. ॥ 10-18-21 ॥

बालकों ने तरह तरह के खेल खेले जिनमें पीठ पर चढऩा तथा उठाना जैसे खेल होते हैं। इन खेलों में जीतने वाले हार जाने वालों की पीठ पर चढ़ते हैं और हारने वाले उन्हें अपनी पीठ पर चढ़ाते हैं। ॥ १०-१८-२१ ॥

वहन्तो वाह्यमानाश्च चारयन्तश्च गोधनम् । भाण्डीरकं नाम वटं जग्मुः कृष्णपुरोगमाः ॥ १०-१८-२२ ॥
Thus carrying and being carried by one another, and at the same time tending the cows, the boys followed Kṛṣṇa to a banyan tree known as Bhāṇḍīraka. ॥ 10-18-22 ॥

इस तरह एक दूसरे पर चढ़ते और चढ़ाते हुए और साथ ही गौवें चराते सारे बालक कृष्ण के पीछे पीछे भाण्डीरक नामक बरगद के पेड़ तक गये। ॥ १०-१८-२२ ॥

My dear King Parīkṣit, when Śrīdāmā, Vṛṣabha and the other members of Lord Balarāma’s party were victorious in these games, Kṛṣṇa and His followers had to carry them. ॥ 10-18-23 ॥

हे राजा परीक्षित, जब इन खेलों में भगवान् बलराम की टोली के श्रीदामा, वृषभ तथा अन्य सदस्य विजयी होते तो कृष्ण तथा उनके साथियों को उन सबों को अपने ऊपर चढ़ाना पड़ता था। ॥ १०-१८-२३ ॥

उवाह कृष्णो भगवान् श्रीदामानं पराजितः । वृषभं भद्रसेनस्तु प्रलम्बो रोहिणीसुतम् ॥ १०-१८-२४ ॥
Defeated, the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa carried Śrīdāmā. Bhadrasena carried Vṛṣabha, and Pralamba carried Balarāma, the son of Rohiṇī. ॥ 10-18-24 ॥

हार कर, भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण ने श्रीदामा को अपने ऊपर चढ़ा लिया। भद्रसेन ने वृषभ को तथा प्रलम्ब ने रोहिणी पुत्र बलराम को चढ़ा लिया। ॥ १०-१८-२४ ॥

अविषह्यं मन्यमानः कृष्णं दानवपुङ्गवः । वहन्द्रुततरं प्रागादवरोहणतः परम् ॥ १०-१८-२५ ॥
Considering Lord Kṛṣṇa invincible, that foremost demon [Pralamba] quickly carried Balarāma far beyond the spot where he was supposed to put his passenger down. ॥ 10-18-25 ॥

भगवान् कृष्ण को दुर्दम सोच कर वह जाना आना असुर (प्रलम्ब), बलराम को तेजी से उस स्थान से बहुत आगे ले गया जहाँ उतारना निश्चित किया गया था। ॥ १०-१८-२५ ॥
