तत उत्थाय सम्भ्रान्ता दह्यमाना व्रजौकसः । कृष्णं ययुस्ते शरणं मायामनुजमीश्वरम् ॥ १०-१७-२२ ॥

sanskrit

Then the residents of Vṛndāvana woke up, extremely disturbed by the great fire threatening to burn them. Thus they took shelter of Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Lord, who by His spiritual potency appeared like an ordinary human being. ॥ 10-17-22 ॥

english translation

तब उन्हें जलाने जा रही विशाल अग्नि से अत्यधिक विचलित होकर वृन्दावनवासी जग पड़े। उन्होंने दौडक़र भगवान् कृष्ण की शरण ली जो आध्यात्मिक शक्ति से सामान्य मनुष्य के रूप में प्रकट हुए थे। ॥ १०-१७-२२ ॥
