अद्यानेन महाव्यालो यशोदानन्दसूनुना । हतोऽविता वयं चास्मादिति बाला व्रजे जगुः ॥ १०-१४-४८ ॥
As the cowherd boys reached the village of Vraja, they sang, “Today Kṛṣṇa saved us by killing a great serpent!” Some of the boys described Kṛṣṇa as the son of Yaśodā, and others as the son of Nanda Mahārāja. ॥ 10-14-48 ॥
english translation
व्रज ग्राम पहुँचते ही बालकों ने गुणगान किया, “आज कृष्ण ने एक विशाल सर्प मारकर हम सबों को बचाया है।” कुछ बालकों ने कृष्ण को यशोदानन्दन के रूप में तो कुछ ने नन्द महाराज के पुत्र के रूप में बखान किया। ॥ १०-१४-४८ ॥
