ततः प्रवयसो गोपास्तोकाश्लेषसुनिर्वृताः । कृच्छ्राच्छनैरपगतास्तदनुस्मृत्युदश्रवः ।। १०-१३-३४ ।।

sanskrit

Thereafter the elderly cowherd men, having obtained great feeling from embracing their sons, gradually and with great difficulty and reluctance ceased embracing them and returned to the forest. But as the men remembered their sons, tears began to roll down from their eyes. ।। 10-13-34 ।।

english translation

तत्पश्चात् प्रौढ़ ग्वाले अपने पुत्रों के आलिंगन से अत्यन्त तुष्ट होकर बड़ी कठिनाई और अनिच्छा से उनका आलिंगन धीरे धीरे छोड़ कर जंगल लौट आये। किन्तु जब उन्हें अपने पुत्रों का स्मरण हुआ तो उनकी आँखों से आँसू लुढक़ आये। ।। १०-१३-३४ ।।
