तन्मातरो वेणुरवत्वरोत्थिता उत्थाप्य दोर्भिः परिरभ्य निर्भरम् । स्नेहस्नुतस्तन्यपयःसुधासवं मत्वा परं ब्रह्म सुतानपाययन् ।। १०-१३-२२ ।।

The mothers of the boys, upon hearing the sounds of the flutes and bugles being played by their sons, immediately rose from their household tasks, lifted their boys onto their laps, embraced them with both arms and began to feed them with their breast milk, which flowed forth because of extreme love specifically for Kṛṣṇa. Actually Kṛṣṇa is everything, but at that time, expressing extreme love and affection, they took special pleasure in feeding Kṛṣṇa, the Parabrahman, and Kṛṣṇa drank the milk from His respective mothers as if it were a nectarean beverage. ।। 10-13-22 ।।

english translation

बालकों की माताओं ने अपने अपने पुत्रों की वंशियों तथा बिगुलों की ध्वनि सुन कर अपना अपना गृहकार्य छोड़ कर उन्हें गोदों में उठा लिया, दोनों बाँहों में भर कर उनका आलिंगन किया और प्रगाढ़ प्रेम के कारण, विशेष रूप से कृष्ण के प्रति प्रेम के कारण स्तनों से बह रहा दूध वे उन्हें पिलाने लगीं। वस्तुत: कृष्ण सर्वस्व हैं लेकिन उस समय अत्यधिक स्नेह व्यक्त करती हुईं वे परब्रह्म कृष्ण को दूध पिलाने में विशेष आनन्द का अनुभव करने लगीं और कृष्ण ने उन माताओं का क्रमश: दूध पिया मानो वह अमृतमय पेय हो। ।। १०-१३-२२ ।।
