वनं वृन्दावनं नाम पशव्यं नवकाननम् । गोपगोपीगवां सेव्यं पुण्याद्रितृणवीरुधम् ॥ १०-११-२८ ॥
Between Nandeśvara and Mahāvana is a place named Vṛndāvana. This place is very suitable because it is lush with grass, plants and creepers for the cows and other animals. It has nice gardens and tall mountains and is full of facilities for the happiness of all the gopas and gopīs and our animals. ॥ 10-11-28 ॥

नन्देश्वर तथा महावन के मध्य वृन्दावन नामक एक स्थान है। यह स्थान अत्यन्त उपयुक्त है क्योंकि इसमें गौवों तथा अन्य पशुओं के लिए रसीली घास, पौधे तथा लताएँ हैं। वहाँ सुन्दर बगीचे तथा ऊँचे पर्वत हैं और वह स्थान गोपों, गोपियों तथा हमारे पशुओं के सुख के लिए सारी सुविधाओं से युक्त है। ॥ १०-११-२८ ॥
