अतोऽर्हतः स्थावरतां स्यातां नैवं यथा पुनः । स्मृतिः स्यान्मत्प्रसादेन तत्रापि मदनुग्रहात् ।। १०-१०-२१ ।।

Therefore, because they are living like trees (for trees are naked but are not conscious), these two young men should receive the bodies of trees. This will be proper punishment. Nonetheless, after they become trees and until they are released, by my mercy they will have remembrance of their past sinful activities. Moreover, by my special favor, ।। 10-10-21 ।।

english translation

अत: वृक्षों की तरह रहने वाले (वृक्ष नंगे होते हैं किन्तु चेतन नहीं होते) इन दोनों युवकों को वृक्षों का शरीर मिलना चाहिए। यही इनके लिए समुचित दण्ड होगा। फिर भी वृक्ष बनने से लेकर अपने उद्धार के समय तक इन्हें मेरी कृपा से अपने विगत पापकर्मों की याद बनी रहेगी। यही नहीं, मेरी विशेष कृपा से ।। १०-१०-२१ ।।
