    न प्रीतयेऽनुरागाय ह्यङ्गसङ्गो नृणामिह । तन्मनो मयि युञ्जाना अचिरान्मामवाप्स्यथ ॥ १०-२३-३२ ॥na prItaye'nurAgAya hyaGgasaGgo nRNAmiha । tanmano mayi yuJjAnA acirAnmAmavApsyatha ॥ 10-23-32 ॥For you to remain in My bodily association would certainly not please people in this world, nor would it be the best way for you to increase your love for Me. Rather, you should fix your minds on Me, and very soon you will achieve Me. ॥ 10-23-32 ॥

Therefore, since we have thrown ourselves at Your lotus feet and have no other destination, please, O chastiser of enemies, grant our desire. ॥ 10-23-30 ॥

    प्राणबुद्धिमनःस्वात्मदारापत्यधनादयः । यत्सम्पर्कात्प्रिया आसंस्ततः को न्वपरः प्रियः ॥ १०-२३-२७ ॥prANabuddhimanaHsvAtmadArApatyadhanAdayaH । yatsamparkAtpriyA AsaMstataH ko nvaparaH priyaH ॥ 10-23-27 ॥It is only by contact with the self that one’s vital breath, intelligence, mind, friends, body, wife, children, wealth and so on are dear. Therefore what object can possibly be more dear than one’s own self? ॥ 10-23-27 ॥

    गा गोपकैरनुवनं नयतोरुदारवेणुस्वनैः कलपदैस्तनुभृत्सु सख्यः । अस्पन्दनं गतिमतां पुलकस्तरूणां निर्योगपाशकृतलक्षणयोर्विचित्रम् ॥ १०-२१-१९ ॥gA gopakairanuvanaM nayatorudAraveNusvanaiH kalapadaistanubhRtsu sakhyaH । aspandanaM gatimatAM pulakastarUNAM niryogapAzakRtalakSaNayorvicitram ॥ 10-21-19 ॥My dear friends, as Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma pass through the forest with Their cowherd friends, leading Their cows, They carry ropes to bind the cows’ rear legs at the time of milking. When Lord Kṛṣṇa plays on His flute, the sweet music causes the moving living entities to become stunned and the nonmoving trees to tremble with ecstasy. These things are certainly very wonderful. ॥ 10-21-19 ॥

He had assumed the form of a cowherd boy with the intention of kidnapping Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma. ॥ 10-18-17 ॥

He was handsome and could assume any form at will. He looked like Mandara mountain surrounded thickly with trees and wild bushes. ॥ 5-10-9॥
