Submerged up to their necks in the cold water, they began to shiver. Thus they addressed Him as follows. ॥ 10-22-13 ॥

Like a chariot driver, the wind swept the fire onward, and terrible sparks shot in all directions. Indeed, the great fire extended its tongues of flame toward all moving and nonmoving creatures. ॥ 10-19-7 ॥

    कृष्णस्य गर्भजगतोऽतिभरावसन्नं पार्ष्णिप्रहारपरिरुग्णफणातपत्रम् । दृष्ट्वाहिमाद्यमुपसेदुरमुष्य पत्न्य आर्ताः श्लथद्वसनभूषणकेशबन्धाः ॥ १०-१६-३१ ॥kRSNasya garbhajagato'tibharAvasannaM pArSNiprahAraparirugNaphaNAtapatram । dRSTvAhimAdyamupaseduramuSya patnya ArtAH zlathadvasanabhUSaNakezabandhAH ॥ 10-16-31 ॥When Kāliya’s wives saw how the serpent had become so fatigued from the excessive weight of Lord Kṛṣṇa, who carries the entire universe in His abdomen, and how Kāliya’s umbrellalike hoods had been shattered by the striking of Kṛṣṇa’s heels, they felt great distress. With their clothing, ornaments and hair scattered in disarray, they then approached the eternal Personality of Godhead. ॥ 10-16-31 ॥

Once again he looked at that beautiful palace which appeared like a mountain with lovely caverns in spring time filled with wonderful fragrance. ॥ 5-7-15॥

    तत्र दैवासुरो नाम रणः परमदारुणः । रोधस्युदन्वतो राजंस्तुमुलो रोमहर्षणः ॥ ८-१०-५ ॥tatra daivAsuro nAma raNaH paramadAruNaH । rodhasyudanvato rAjaMstumulo romaharSaNaH ॥ 8-10-5 ॥O King, a fierce battle on the beach of the Ocean of Milk ensued between the demigods and the demons. The fighting was so terrible that simply hearing about it would make the hair on one’s body stand on end. ॥ 8-10-5 ॥

    सपत्नानां परामृद्धिं दृष्ट्वा ते दितिनन्दनाः । अमृष्यमाणा उत्पेतुर्देवान् प्रत्युद्यतायुधाः ॥ ८-१०-३ ॥sapatnAnAM parAmRddhiM dRSTvA te ditinandanAH । amRSyamANA utpeturdevAn pratyudyatAyudhAH ॥ 8-10-3 ॥Seeing the victory of the demigods, the demons became intolerant of their superior opulence. Thus they began to march toward the demigods with raised weapons. ॥ 8-10-3 ॥

    सर्वेषामपि वस्तूनां भावार्थो भवति स्थितः । तस्यापि भगवान् कृष्णः किमतद्वस्तु रूप्यताम् ॥ १०-१४-५७ ॥sarveSAmapi vastUnAM bhAvArtho bhavati sthitaH । tasyApi bhagavAn kRSNaH kimatadvastu rUpyatAm ॥ 10-14-57 ॥The original, unmanifested form of material nature is the source of all material things, and the source of even that subtle material nature is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa. What, then, could one ascertain to be separate from Him? ॥ 10-14-57 ॥

    साधयित्वामृतं राजन् पाययित्वा स्वकान् सुरान् । पश्यतां सर्वभूतानां ययौ गरुडवाहनः ॥ ८-१०-२ ॥sAdhayitvAmRtaM rAjan pAyayitvA svakAn surAn । pazyatAM sarvabhUtAnAM yayau garuDavAhanaH ॥ 8-10-2 ॥O King, after the Supreme Personality of Godhead had brought to completion the affairs of churning the ocean and feeding the nectar to the demigods, who are His dear devotees, He left the presence of them all and was carried by Garuḍa to His own abode. ॥ 8-10-2 ॥
