यु॒वां ह॑वन्त उ॒भया॑स आ॒जिष्विन्द्रं॑ च॒ वस्वो॒ वरु॑णं च सा॒तये॑ । यत्र॒ राज॑भिर्द॒शभि॒र्निबा॑धितं॒ प्र सु॒दास॒माव॑तं॒ तृत्सु॑भिः स॒ह ॥ युवां हवन्त उभयास आजिष्विन्द्रं च वस्वो वरुणं च सातये । यत्र राजभिर्दशभिर्निबाधितं प्र सुदासमावतं तृत्सुभिः सह ॥
Both (Sudāsa and the Tṛtsus) call upon you two (Indra and Varuṇa), in combats for the acquisition ofwealth, when you defend Sudāsa, together with Tṛtsus, when attacked bythe ten rājās.

दश॒ राजा॑न॒: समि॑ता॒ अय॑ज्यवः सु॒दास॑मिन्द्रावरुणा॒ न यु॑युधुः । स॒त्या नृ॒णाम॑द्म॒सदा॒मुप॑स्तुतिर्दे॒वा ए॑षामभवन्दे॒वहू॑तिषु ॥ दश राजानः समिता अयज्यवः सुदासमिन्द्रावरुणा न युयुधुः । सत्या नृणामद्मसदामुपस्तुतिर्देवा एषामभवन्देवहूतिषु ॥
The ten confederated irreligious rājās did not prevail, Indra and Varuṇa, against Sudāsa; the praiseof the leaders (of rites), the offerers of sacrificial food, was fruitful; the gods were present at their sacrifices.

दा॒श॒रा॒ज्ञे परि॑यत्ताय वि॒श्वत॑: सु॒दास॑ इन्द्रावरुणावशिक्षतम् । श्वि॒त्यञ्चो॒ यत्र॒ नम॑सा कप॒र्दिनो॑ धि॒या धीव॑न्तो॒ अस॑पन्त॒ तृत्स॑वः ॥ दाशराज्ञे परियत्ताय विश्वतः सुदास इन्द्रावरुणावशिक्षतम् । श्वित्यञ्चो यत्र नमसा कपर्दिनो धिया धीवन्तो असपन्त तृत्सवः ॥
You gave vigour, Indra and Varuṇa, to Sudāsa when surrounded on all sides by the ten rājās (inthe country) where the pious Tṛtsus, walking in whiteness, and wearing braided hair, worshipped with oblationsand praise.

वृ॒त्राण्य॒न्यः स॑मि॒थेषु॒ जिघ्न॑ते व्र॒तान्य॒न्यो अ॒भि र॑क्षते॒ सदा॑ । हवा॑महे वां वृषणा सुवृ॒क्तिभि॑र॒स्मे इ॑न्द्रावरुणा॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतम् ॥ वृत्राण्यन्यः समिथेषु जिघ्नते व्रतान्यन्यो अभि रक्षते सदा । हवामहे वां वृषणा सुवृक्तिभिरस्मे इन्द्रावरुणा शर्म यच्छतम् ॥
One of you destroys enemies inbattle, the other ever protects religious observances; we invoke you,showerers (of benefits), with praises; bestow upon us, Indra and Varuṇa, felicity.

अ॒स्मे इन्द्रो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा द्यु॒म्नं य॑च्छन्तु॒ महि॒ शर्म॑ स॒प्रथ॑: । अ॒व॒ध्रं ज्योति॒रदि॑तेॠता॒वृधो॑ दे॒वस्य॒ श्लोकं॑ सवि॒तुर्म॑नामहे ॥ अस्मे इन्द्रो वरुणो मित्रो अर्यमा द्युम्नं यच्छन्तु महि शर्म सप्रथः । अवध्रं ज्योतिरदितेॠतावृधो देवस्य श्लोकं सवितुर्मनामहे ॥
May Indra, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman grant us wealth and a large and spacious mansion; may the lustreof Aditi, the augmentress (of sacrifice), be innoxious to us; we recite the praise of the divine Savitā.
